My name is Tara and I like to capture moments on film. My love of photography began when I was much younger with digital cameras. A few years ago, I dipped my toe into the magic of film (or analogue) photography. I fell in love with the unique tones and color renderings that come with shooting on film, as well as the necessity of intention that comes with each press of the shutter. I particularly enjoy capturing moments in the outdoors, trying to bring emphasis to the grandeur and beauty of the natural world - along with capturing memories amongst friends. I bring my camera with me anytime I head into the backcountry or across borders to explore someplace new. My hope is that my photos capture special moments in time, and that they resonate with people who value the stillness of a moment, and the color palette of nature.
